FIRST WORKSHOP FOR PHD STUDENTS HOSTED

The Kant-Gesellschaft is pleased to announce its first Workshop
for PhD Students organized by Professor Dr. Dietmar Heidemann at the University
of Luxembourg, 1-2 October 2012. The aim of the workshop is to encourage and
foster an exchange between doctoral students working on the philosophy of Kant.
Format: 30 minutes paper presentation followed by 30 minutes of
discussion
Key note speaker: Professor Dr. Klaus Düsing, University of
Cologne
Application: Doctoral students working on a dissertation on the
philosophy of Kant are encouraged to send abstracts (max. 750 words) and a
short CV in German, English or French via email attachment (pdf) to Professor
Dr. Dietmar Heidemann (dietmar.heidemann@uni.lu). The Board of the Kant-Gesellschaft selects up to eight papers
for presentation. For those selected, the Kant-Gesellschaft and the organizer
subsidize travel and accommodation costs. In addition, the workshop is open to
all who are interested. Registration prior to the workshop is required via
email: dietmar.heidemann@uni.lu.
